New Tube Mod – Pioneer LX-500 – Coming Soon!

This mod will be a one-box unit, with internal power supply and tube analog stage. Pricing for this mod is still TBD, but it will be less than the cost of our Oppo 205 mods with external supply and umbilical.

The LX-500 is very well designed in stock form, with a great drive, excellent video and very well damped and rigid enclosure and drive. The weak points are the power supply and analog stage. This is where we come in and will add our own power supply for all audio and DAC circuitry and replace the stock analog stage with our own 6dj8/6922/7308 based tube analog stage.

I plan to have the initial design concept implemented this week!
